All employees are covered by workers’ compensation insurance for job-related injuries that occur while on duty, including incidents on school property or during official district business.
Reporting Work-Related Injuries
All work-related injuries or illnesses must be reported to the employee’s immediate supervisor immediately. Timely reporting ensures proper medical evaluation and compliance with district safety procedures. Failure to report may affect eligibility for benefits or further support under the worker’s compensation program.
Reporting an Injury
- Report the injury immediately to your supervisor.
- Call the district’s nurse triage service at 888-252-4689.
- If medical treatment is needed, the employee must visit an approved clinic and present a Return to Work form.
