Palmcroft Elementary is celebrating a major achievement as one of its own has been recognized at the county level. Hannah Martinez has been named the 2026 Yuma County Teacher of the Year, highlighting her dedication, impact, and excellence in the classroom.
The recognition comes as part of an even larger accomplishment for District One, where teachers earned top honors across every eligible category: Primary, Intermediate/Special Area, and Junior High. This rare “category sweep” showcases the strength and commitment of educators throughout the district.
